Title
Systematic Review of Individual Performance in the Study of Human Resource Management and Its Measurement.
Description
Human resource management literature has grown and so has applied HR practices in organizations. We present a systematic review of 18 empirical studies of HR over time and identify important trends, which explicitly link the conceptualization and measurement of HR performance. Our findings suggest that the increasingly broad conceptualization and measurement of HR performance and the lack of clarity about the construction of HR systems at different levels have hindered research progress. We offer actionable advice on how to advance research on accurate HR performance measurement with conceptual clarity and refinement of constructs.
