Social media is a new thing in the study of communication theory. Technological online communication engagement combines the advantages of hardware and software. Social construction in self-identity has been formed by means of communication. In the various online communication options available, users construct their identities according to the technology used and according to the social environment that surrounds the communication tools provided. This review will examine the relationship between online communicators and their perceptions of the online environment and their readiness to use their real identities.
